Between lovingly restored half-timbered buildings, artists' studios, galleries, restaurants, cafés and small stores invite you to relax.
Altkötzschenbroda was awakened from its slumber after the fall of the Wall and saved from total demolition by its appointment as a redevelopment area. From now on the village center developed into an architectural jewel. All around the village green, original pubs with vaulted cellars, gourmet restaurants, cafés, guesthouses, wine shops, trendy clubs and a variety of overnight accommodations opened up. On the Dorfanger are the municipal gallery and the Heimatstube of Radebeul, which attract many visitors with interesting exhibitions and events. Between designer fashions, souvenirs and antiques, there are also fruits and vegetables from our own cultivation, fresh milk from the cow and an old-established country bakery. Altkötzschenbroda has become a popular promenade for both Radebeulers and their guests from near and far. Fully restored half-timbered buildings invite artists' studios, galleries and small stores for a relaxed stroll. In restaurants, cosy cafés and rustic pubs you can enjoy the Mediterranean flair and idyllic atmosphere.
