In the southeast of Klipphausen lies the main mouth of the Rothschönberg adit, which is equipped with the largest and most magnificent adit portal in the Freiberg mining district.
The gallery, which is still in working order today, is one of the selected sites of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Montane Cultural Landscape Erzgebirge/ Krušnohoří. An immersion into the mining past is possible in the "Old lime mine Miltitz". Underground, visitors are guided through the history of limestone and silver mining in the 19th and 20th centuries.
