The start is in Zabeltitz. Visit the picturesque palace with baroque garden, the Old Castle or the Farmers' Museum in the village. Continue on to Raden, where you can see an exhibition on the history of the GDR, the baking barn or the grain and saw mill. In Frauenhain you can go boating or play miniature golf. The route continues through Koseltitz, Tiefenau, Zeithain with the Saxon Fire Brigade Museum and Jacobsthal with an animal enclosure. It continues past Kreinitz, Lorenzkirch in the direction of Strehla. There you can visit the post milestone at the market, the historical castle, as well as the zoo and the open-air swimming pool. In addition, Oschatz is home to the O- Schatz Park, the City and Weighing Museum, as well as the Oschatz City Forest. Drive on the way to Riesa- Canitz and Lommatzsch in the direction of Diesbar-Seußlitz. The town on the wine route invites you to stay with the park at Seußlitz Castle and the baroque winegrower's house "Heinrichsburg". Drive via Skassa, past the manor and the castle mill in Walda back to Zabeltitz.

Public transport

You can travel to Zabeltitz with the regional train line RB 31 from the direction of Elsterwerda and Dresden. In addition, the bus lines 461 from Großenhain and Gröditz and 467 from Großenhain go to the starting point of the tour on weekdays. For this, get off at the bus stop "Schule, Zabeltitz".

In addition, you have the possibility to reach the bike route via bus line 407-441-433 from Meißen and Mühlberg/Elbe via the stops in Seußlitz, Riesa and Strehla.

By road

Use the A4 in Dresden or exit onto the A13 from Berlin. From Meißen follow the Dresdner Straße to Coswig. You can reach Zabeltitz via the B101 from Meißen and Großenhain.

Parking

You will find a central parking lot on the main street at the height of the bus stop "Barockgarten".
