Most wine connoisseurs think that it is best to taste directly at the winery. That's why many wineries along the bike tour are looking forward to meeting you. Or get to know Saxon hospitality and wine culture in one of the wine bars along the way.
The starting point is Weinböhla at the Zentralgasthof. The historic winery, the Ratsweinberg and the Royal Vineyard are the first wine experiences of the bike tour. This is followed by the Besenwirtschaft "Im Waldacker", the Gellertberg, the Oberau moated castle, Meissen with the winegrowers' cooperative and the Proschwitzer Katzensprung vineyard. On the Elbe cycle path the wineries Vincenz Richter, Mariaberg and Ricco Hänsch. In Sörnewitz the Elberadweg is left and it follows the wineries Schabehorn,Schuh, Henke and the Besenwirtschaft "Zum Winzerschoppen". The Nassau nature reserve follows and Weinböhla is reached again.

In the summer season from April to October, the excursion line M (Meißen - Weinböhla - Moritzburg) runs daily, carrying a bicycle trailer for up to 16 bikes.
You can park directly in front of the Zentralgasthof in Weinböhla.
The parking lot in Meißen on the Elbe Cycle Path between the Elbe bridges and the parking lot in Sörnewitz on the Elbgaustraße also offer special entry options.
