Public-transport-friendly
Timetable information VVOThe main traffic artery is the S-Bahn S 1, which connects Meißen with Coswig, Radebeul, Dresden and Pirna every half hour. From the stops of the S-Bahn there are numerous bus connections with which you can reach further destinations.
We recommend the VVO day tickets for your trip. On a day ticket for individuals at the normal fare, up to two children up to and including 14 years of age can be taken along free of charge. In addition, you are mobile with the family day ticket or the small group ticket. The price level of your ticket depends on the number of tariff zones you want to travel through. In the Upper Elbe Transport Association (VVO), one ticket is valid for the entire journey: on the S-Bahn, local trains, buses, streetcars and on almost every ferry.
